Garden Route Foods is a snail processing plant situated on the beautiful Garden Route in the Western Cape, South Africa. Our company was founded in 2019 and offers an all-encompassing service. We strive for a farm-to-table strategy within the escargot industry in South Africa, offering a range of snail and escargot products.  Our farmers are located throughout South Africa and provide an exclusive supply of snails to the processing plant. All of our snails are carefully selected and hand-picked from approved farmlands that uphold a quality control standard and policy. Our snails are raised on natural vegetative and specialised snail feed, free of pesticides, herbicides, unnatural enhancers and hormones. It is of utmost importance that all snails remain healthy and well looked after while in their free-range growing paddocks.
